With Hilfswerk International in Mozambique
The trip to Mozambique to the province of Sofala served to gain further insight into the hygiene conditions on the ground. It became clear how great the need for simple yet sustainable hygiene solutions in the communities is. In particular, access to hygiene products and raising awareness of hygiene practices play a central role in the health of the population.
SOAPEYA was already successfully piloted in the visited community last year. The project is receiving great interest from the local people and was very well received. The practical utility in everyday life and the opportunity to improve hygiene in a simple and effective way are particularly appreciated. The high level of acceptance demonstrates the potential for further expansion of the project in the region.
The committed work of Hilfswerk International was also very impressive.
